The mark of a great city is its capacity to attract and stage major events, and Ipswich is simply brimming with these.
Events for families are a speciality in Ipswich ... the Ipswich Show is the largest agricultural show in the region and features three days of traditional show ring and pavilion competitions, events and displays, and all the old favourite sideshow attractions. Added to this, the award-winning Workshops Rail Museum organises school holiday and family programs and other events throughout the year, including the popular Witches & Wizards Steam Train ride from Brisbane to Ipswich.
