A wonderfully secluded stretch of bushland, a walk through the peaceful pathways, earthen steps and wooden boardwalks of Walter Zimmerman Park in Pine Mountain is a treat for the city-weary soul.

The cherry on top of this little slice of natural beauty is easy access from the park to the Wanora section of the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, which winds through farmland, forests and country towns and, at 161 kilometres, is proudly the longest disused rail line in Australia.
