You don’t have to travel far to celebrate New Year’s Eve because there are events, parties and fireworks being held right here in Ipswich!

Whether you want to spend the night busting a move on the dance floor, sipping a glass of bubbly, or gazing up at the night sky watching fireworks, you can do all of this plus more at one of the many great events happening across the city.

Here are some of the best places where you can say goodbye to 2024 and hello to 2025.

Four colourful fireworks displays will light up the night skies over Ipswich on New Year’s Eve.

Fireworks will launch across the region in Springfield Central, South Ripley, Ipswich Central and, Chuwar with Ipswich City Council strategically choosing central locations where residents can view the displays from their backyards or in large, open public spaces nearby.

Celebrate ’25 at Tivoli!

Farewell 2024 at the Tivoli Drive-In Theatre’s New Year’s Eve festival.  Held from 4pm-9pm on Tuesday 31 December the event includes a bustling market place, exciting on-stage performances, a huge array of family friendly activities, kids activities, rides and a spectacular fireworks finale.

Guests who will be spending New Years Eve at Club Services Ipswich are advised to wear comfortable shoes, with a big night of live music and dancing planned.

Kicking off at 8pm you can see a spectacular Elton John and Billy Joel tribute show!
