You don’t have to travel far to celebrate New Year’s Eve because there are events, parties and fireworks being held right here in Ipswich!

Colourful fireworks displays to light up the night sky
Four colourful fireworks displays will light up the night skies over Ipswich on New Year’s Eve.
Fireworks will launch across the region in Springfield Central, South Ripley, Ipswich Centra and, Chuwar with Ipswich City Council strategically choosing central locations where residents can view the displays from their backyards or in large, open public spaces nearby.

Celebrate ’25 at Tivoli!
Farewell 2024 at the Tivoli Drive-In Theatre’s New Year’s Eve festival. Held from 3pm-9pm on Tuesday 31 December your ticket includes a bustling market place, exciting on-stage performances, a huge array of family friendly activities and a spectacular fireworks finale.
There will be something for the whole family!
The Tivoli Drive-in is located at 50 Coal Rd, Chuwar.
Sip and sing at The Rusty Nail
Enjoy an evening of live music and bubbles at The Rusty Nail on December 31.
Before the countdown begins, everyone will also receive a glass of bubbly to cheer the New Year. Guests can also add on a Charcuterie Board or a trio of dips for an additional charge.
Tickets must be booked in advance. The Rusty Nail is located at 44 Ipswich City Mall, Ipswich.
Live music at Club Services Ipswich
Guests who will be spending New Years Eve at Club Services Ipswich are advised to wear comfortable shoes, with a big night of live music and dancing planned.
Kicking off at 8pm will be you can see a spectacular Elton John and Billy Joel tribute show!
