Celebrate Christmas in Ipswich and get your gift buying done at the same time with these great markets and events in the lead up to Christmas.

The Soul Nook Collective’s annual Christmas Market will be held on Saturday November 30, from 9am-2pm.

You will find artisan wares, food trucks, interactive stalls, entertainment and a mocktail bar at these stylish markets.  There will be Christmas carols, a free kids mini art class, free face painting, tarot reading, hair braiding and crystal bracelet making.

There are 46 stalls booked in and entry is $2.

Ipswich Twilight Markets

A special Christmas Twilight market will be held on Saturday 30 November at the Ipswich Showgrounds.  Get into the festive spirit with enchanting Christmas decorations, glittering festive lights, free activities, amusement rides, entertainment, Christmas Carols and a visit from Santa.

Entry is $5 but children 12 and under are free.

ArtsConnect Ipswich are once again hosting an Off The Wall art and craft exhibition at the Ipswich Community Gallery, next door to the Ipswich Art Gallery over 6 December to 15 December.

There are over 40 local artists showcasing their art and crafts which are for sale, this is a great opportunity to buy local and handmade gifts including paintings, textiles, ceramics and more.

Marburg Christmas Carnival

A Christmas Carnival at the Marburg Show Grounds will feature market stalls, rides, an animal farm, face painting, games and fireworks.

Head down on Saturday December 7 from 4pm-8pm at 45-55 Queen St, Marburg.  Santa will also make an appearance at 7.05pm.

Handmade expo Christmas Extravaganza

The Handmade Expo is holding one last chance to stock up on artisan and locally hand made goodies before Christmas.  This Christmas market will be held on Saturday December 7 from 9am-1pm at Tulmur Place.

Ripley Markets

Ripley markets

The last Ripley Markets before Christmas are being held on December 14 from 3pm-8pm. There will be stalls with plants, jewellery, art and more, as well as food trucks at this relaxed, dog friendly market.

Springfield Markets

Christmas wreaths by Chezza's (Christmas Factory) are available at the Springfield Markets.

The Springfield Markets at Robelle Domain are taking place on Sunday December 1, with artisan stalls, music, food and more.  Regular stall holders products range from Christmas decorations to terrariums, plants and handmade fairy houses, spices, jams and oils, flowers, cleaning products, hair accessories, toys and crystals, honey products and baked treats.

Twilight Markets at Orion Springfield Central

The annual Twilight Markets at Orion Springfield Central are set to be held on Monday December 23.  The markets will start at 9am and run until midnight, coinciding with late night trade at the shopping centre, great for last minute gifts!
