Haig Street Quarry Conservation Reserve is home to many water birds that live in and around the Quarry Pond and offers a beautiful display of wildflowers in Spring. Come along to the habitat trek and talk with Ranger Jody and learn more about the reserve. Please note, we will not be exploring the waterways as depicted in the image supplied. Haig Street Quarry Conservation Reserve has fantastic lookouts including lookouts to planes taking off and landing at Amberley RAAF Base. Haig Street Quarry Conservation Reserve preserves an example of dry eucalypt forest once widespread in the Brassall area and offers spectacular views of the Scenic Rim. Don’t miss this nature talk!
