Haig Street Quarry Conservation Reserve is home to many water birds that live in and around the Quarry Pond and offers a beautiful display of wildflowers in Spring. Come along to the habitat trek and talk with Ranger Jody and learn more about the reserve. Please note, we will not be exploring the waterways as depicted in the image supplied. Haig Street Quarry Conservation Reserve has fantastic lookouts including lookouts to planes taking off and landing at Amberley RAAF Base. Haig Street Quarry Conservation Reserve preserves an example of dry eucalypt forest once widespread in the Brassall area and offers spectacular views of the Scenic Rim. Don’t miss this nature talk!

Time: Meet your guides 15 minutes prior to start times.
Please plan ahead to arrive on time as courtesy to other guests, so the tour can depart and return on time. Unfortunately the tour cannot be delayed for latecomers. You are advised to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to departure times.
Where: 59 High St, Brassall QLD 4305
From Ipswich Central, travel northwest along Burnett Road towards Brassall. Burnett Road will become Hunter Street.
Turn left from Hunter Street onto Haig Street (travelling west) and drive directly into the main parking area.
Cost: $20 per adult, $18 per concession, or $60 per family (up to 2A,2C combination minimum 1 Adult)*
